Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including all community shop work area. Properly maintain and safely operate Genesis tools and equipment. Understand and follow mechanical prints, electrical and pneumatic schematics. Understand and follow applicable machine assembly and wiring standards. Understand and follow safety regulations. Suggest improvements to simplify designs or reduce costs. Utilize proper ordering procedures to obtain parts, equipment, and supplies.Ĭomplete machine builds within quoted build hours within given constraints and circumstances under their control. Participate in design reviews and machine function discussions. Maintain personal notes or journal of information related to manufacturing procedures and processes, for use by peers as required.ĭocument mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic “redline” changes.ĭocument roadblocks to efficient and organized machine build. Proficiency at general fabrication of assemblies. Provide basic training assistance to Associate Technicians as required. Understand and utilize basic robot functions to support machine builds. Works with Project Manager, Material Specialists, and Design to complete projects. Proficient at the functional check out and trouble-shooting activities required to startup and debug of systems. Works alone or with other Associate Technicians and Senior Technicians in the assembly of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components for machine builds, in compliance with design information and assembly instructions. The Technician is responsible for activities associated with the fabrication, assembly, debug, and technical support of machine builds.
